Dr. Lankarany is a Senior Scientist at the Krembil Research Institute – University Health Network (UHN), an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto (Institute of Biomedical Engineering & Department of Physiology), and an Affiliate Scientist at the KITE-UHN. Dr. Lankarany has expertise in computational neuroscience, electrical engineering, and data science. His research is directed toward understanding how information processing is disrupted in neurological disorders and how neurostimulation technology can restore normal brain function. He has made several significant contributions to the fields of computational neuroscience and wearable technology. He has produced more than 75 peer-reviewed publications and has given more than 20 invited presentations and research talks at scientific meetings and academic research institutions in Canada, the US, Europe, and Asia.
